Career Connection is a “hands-on,” weekly training session where job seekers receive information and career coaching from Middle Tennessee employers and hiring managers as well as the NCAC career coaches. Topics such as “how to apply successfully on the internet,” “how to get the attention of the recruiter, “what employers look for in a resume,” “how to create and maintain a successful network” and “how to interview and follow-up with hiring managers” are a few of the subjects that are covered in Career Connection. Career Connection is also designed to help the job seeker to see other possibilities, successfully navigate a career transition and identify the career that is right for them.
